3… 2… 1… Get Ready to Stay Ready in 2020

The new year is right around the corner, and to be honest – I’m feeling pretty excited about it!  We all know that everyone starts the new year off with aspirations like, “lose 10 pounds,” or “have better time management,” – and that’s totally fine, we all could probably stand to do either one (if not both) of those things.  Setting goals is great, but I want to share with you that I see 2020 as a powerful new year.  This is the year to move forward with an explosive energy toward everything that we are purposed to do.  It’s the year to pursue our dreams with fervor, passion and intention and make 2020 our best year yet!  Do not let this new year come and go like years past.  Let’s commit together, to make this new year matter.  Step into our true sense of power, strength, and courage and unleash all of our greatness onto everything we do.  Take a sip of your Peach Bellini and let’s countdown to making the new year, a kick ass year!

Tips for Planning Your Best Year Yet:

3.  Reflect on the past…
Take some time to take a long look over this past year.  Allow yourself to reflect on the good times, the celebrations and triumphs.  Congratulations and cheers to you for all of your accomplishments, you did your best!  Smile and pat yourself on the back, you deserve it.

Now, examine the times you felt like you had a setback.  It’s okay, it happens to all of us. Think about how you would approach these times differently.  The universe always gives us a do-over, a chance to get it right the second time.  Ask yourself, how will you handle these situations the next time?  What would you like to do better?  The new year is about projecting forward; not a time for regrets.  You know better, so do better.  Leave the past in your rear view and – get ready to go full speed ahead.

2.  Clean house…
It’s time for, out with the old and in with the new.  Purge yourself of ideas, situations and people that are holding you back from being your best self.  I like to start with something small like clearing out my closet.  Bag up clothes you no longer wear, shoes that are cute but too tight – and give them away.  You will be amazed at how much energy “stuff” that you are holding on to has; and might be weighing you down in ways that you may not have even realized.  Moving items out of your physical space, creates space for fresh new things to come into your life.

Once you free yourself from the physical things you no longer need, ask yourself those deeper questions, and take stock of the emotional things you need to let go of too.  Letting go is not easy but it is necessary.  Allow yourself to let go of things that are no longer serving your higher purpose and – get ready to receive the blessings you may have been blocking yourself from all year long.

1.   Write down your vision…
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – there’s real power in writing down your vision.  What is that big idea or goal that you know you should be pursuing, but keep putting off? Or what is it that you want for yourself, but you just don’t know how to go after?  Put your fears to the side, and write it down.

Give yourself permission to dream big and write down clearly the vision you have for yourself.  The roadmap to success is a lot easier to follow when you have it on paper to guide you.  Stop daydreaming about that promotion or starting that business…write it down on paper.  Every great idea started on a sheet of paper – get ready to make your dreams come true!

Get ready to stay ready in 2020 everybody.  Life is a party, so live it like one – see you next year for our best year yet!

What I’m Celebrating!
I am celebrating clarity.  I have “20:20” vision and  it is quite clear to me that great things are on the horizon for the new year.
