Party Crab Puffs
Let’s get this party started! Seafood is always a crowd pleaser, and these quick & easy crab puffs are a party delight in each and every bite! Crunchy on the outside and packed with sweet lump crab meat on the inside – these poppable puffs are just a lot of fun to eat! For a super time-saver, prepare the filling in advance and place in the fridge until you’re ready to fry. My party tip: go on and double or triple this recipe because maybe it’s magic, but somehow these puffs just disappear!
Using a deep fryer or a 3-5 quart pot, heat oil on high to approximately 350˚F. Use a thermometer to check temperature.
In a large bowl, mix crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, black pepper, and egg together.
Using a tablespoon measure, scoop crab mixture into hand and shape into a ball. Repeat until all of the mixture is shaped into balls.
Drop into oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and heated throughout. Rest on paper towels to drain excess oil.
