Cinnamon Sugar Bread in a Bag
Finally deliciously sweet homemade bread – without the fuss! Imagine, a cinnamon roll meets a loaf of homemade bread and they fall in love! Preheat oven to 375˚F.
Spray loaf pan with cooking spray.
In a gallon size plastic bag, pour in 1 cup of flour, sugar, yeast, and water.
Press down to remove excess air from bag.
Close bag tightly and squish ingredients in bag until mixed.
Let bag sit for 10 minutes to activate yeast.
Add 1 cup of flour, cinnamon, vanilla, melted butter, oil, and salt.
Close bag and mix.
Add last 1 ½ cup of flour and mix again until all ingredients are well incorporated and dough begins to pull away from the bag.
In a small bowl mix cinnamon and sugar.
On a lightly floured surface, pour dough out of bag.
Gently knead dough until it comes together and is not sticking to the board.
Using your fingers flatten out dough into a circle about an inch in thickness.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top of dough.
Gently roll dough (like a burrito) to make the shape of a loaf.
Tuck sides of dough under to keep cinnamon sugar inside.
Place dough seam side down into loaf pan and cover with a kitchen towel.
Let dough rest and rise for 30 minutes.
Once dough has risen, remove towel and bake until golden, about 20-25 minutes.
