Sweet Honey Butter Cornbread

You know that the deeper south you go, the sweeter the cornbread gets! Well this cornbread is so sweet and moist, cake-like and buttery that you can eat it for breakfast,
lunch, dinner and dessert! Tastes just like grandma made it – with love!

Ingredients
 1 cup cornmeal
 1 cup all-purpose flour
  cup sugar
 1 tbsp baking powder
 ½ tsp salt
  cup vegetable oil
 3 tbsp melted butter
 3 tbsp honey
 2 eggs, beaten
 1 ¼ cups milk

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl mix oil, melted butter, honey, eggs, and milk.

Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Mix until well incorporated.

Pour into a greased 10-inch pan or cast-iron skillet.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
