Ingredients: 1 boxed brownie mix; 3 tbsp melted butter; ¾ cup brown sugar; 2 eggs; 2 tbsp heavy cream; 2 tbsp vanilla; ¼ cup maple syrup; 1 tsp kosher salt; 2 cups whole pecans; 1 ¼ cups chopped pecans

This super simple recipe makes boxed brownies looks like they came straight from the bakery. Wherever you take them, they're sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

1 boxed brownie mix

3 tbsp melted butter

¾ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 tbsp heavy cream

2 tbsp vanilla

¼ cup maple syrup

1 tsp kosher salt

2 cups whole pecans

1 ¼ cups chopped pecans

Mix the boxed brownie mix according to package instructions and bake until the brownies are set but not cooked through, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Mix the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and pour over the top of the brownies.

Place back into the oven and cook for an additional 20-25 minutes until the topping has set and a knife inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean.

Cool to room temperature, cut, and serve.
