Deep Dish Pasta Pizza

Love pizza? Love pasta? Then three cheers for deep dish pizza pasta! I combine two of my family’s faves with this saucy dish that is a great way to turn leftover pasta into a delicious dinner on day two. Between us, it’s also a great way to sneak extra veggies into a fun meal – they’ll never know! Watch the video!

Ingredients
 Cooking spray for pan
 1 lb cooked spaghetti pasta
 ¼ cup milk
 2 eggs, beaten
 ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
 1 tsp garlic powder
 1 tsp salt
 2 cups shredded Italian blend cheese
 2 cups tomato sauce
 2 cups of pizza toppings (pepperoni, cooked Italian sausage, cooked meatballs, onions, black olives, etc.)
 Fresh chopped basil for garnish

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

Generously spray 10-inch spring form pan or deep-dish pie pan with cooking spray.

In a bowl, mix cooked pasta, milk, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

Spoon mixture into pan. Press down into pan. Pour on pizza sauce.

Add on toppings and sprinkle with remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.

Place pan on rimmed baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Remove from oven and garnish with chopped basil.
